Earthsong Voyage

Jamie and Joe Empert are musicians from Atlanta, GA and have been married for over 30 years. They truly believe that playing music together is a gift.

Jamie was instantly captivated by the sound of the Native American Flute and purchased her first flute almost 20 years ago.  Since then, she has amassed a large collection of flutes, and they all have their own special voices.   Jamie believes that the melodies are waiting in the flute to be discovered.  You just have to listen to what they are telling you.

Joe originally began drumming in West African and Caribbean groups and has expanded into other world styles over the years. He has a variety of world percussion instruments, and you will find him playing a little bit of everything at a performance.  Joe has also come to love the more technical side of music, including recording, mixing, and mastering.

Jamie and Joe released their first album Take Flight, containing award nominated music, in 2019 under the artist name Jamie Empert; however, the duo are now evolving into Earthsong Voyage and will be releasing their second album, Echoes of Earth and Sky, in March of 2025.
